Behind The Camera

Creating “Insomniac’s Dream Productions” as a handle for his photography and cosplay creations, Jonathan Modest is portrait photographer based out of Brooklyn, New York. They began their journey behind the lens early and decided in 2008 to pursue it in a more professional capacity.

Appreciating creative visual art forms, he always had a camera in his hands. Whether it be a small point and shoot camera at a younger age for yearbook photos or his main digital camera in more recent days to photograph a local rock show, Jonathan always looks to preserve and capture the moment.

As an internationally published freelance portrait photographer, his work has been featured in numerous outlets and media in the world of fashion, music, cosplay. Jonathan's focus is on providing a professional creative space for clients to express, and help curate wonderful images through each concept. With photography that is natural, relaxed, and beautifully lit, Insomniac’s Dream Productions has a calm and fun approach to each one of their projects.
